Founder Nicole
Swiss / German / English Teacher
Nicole is an experienced and dedicated educator with over 10 years of teaching experience in Switzerland, Australia, and England, Nicole believes it is important to provide a personalised and student-centered language learning experience.
Nicole is a native Swiss speaker who holds a Master’s Degree in English Linguistics and two degrees in teaching, specialising in Swiss-German, German, and English.
Fluent in Swiss, German, and English, and proficient in French and Spanish, Nicole brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep love for languages to every lesson.
Luke
English Teacher (Native)
Luke is a Level 5 TEFL certified English tutor with 4 years of teaching experience in England, Bali and Switzerland.
Born and raised in Cambridge, England Luke offers a genuine knowledge and understanding of the English language as a native speaker.
Luke offers student focused, engaging lessons that are tailored to the students unique learning styles.
Passionate about travelling and exploring different cultures, Luke utilizes his experience to create a welcoming, comfortable environment for students to learn at their own pace with confidence.
Livia
Swiss German/German Tutor (Native)
Livia is a Swiss expat who has been living abroad for over five years, with the last three years spent in Bali. Having experienced different cultures firsthand, she understands the deep motivation behind learning a language—not just to communicate, but to truly connect with people and their way of life. Her teaching style is intuitive, patient, and focused on creating a relaxed, judgment-free space—an approach that helps students learn more effectively. She believes that when people feel comfortable and supported, they gain confidence and progress faster. As a passionate educator, she offers both structured grammar lessons and natural conversation practice, always tailoring her sessions to the individual needs of her students. Tanja was born and raised in Switzerland and has a deep passion for a variety of subjects, including sales strategies, Pilates, and, of course, the German language. As a dedicated teacher, she enjoys sharing her knowledge of these topics with great enthusiasm. Tanja’s goal is to help her students improve their language skills in a personal and straightforward way. She offers individually tailored, dynamic, and motivating lessons that are customized to meet each student’s specific needs and interests. Whether a student wants to deepen their grammar, expand their vocabulary, or perfect their pronunciation, Tanja ensures that every lesson is designed to help them reach their goals. Rebecca has been passionate about languages her entire life. Born and raised in Switzerland, she grew up speaking Swiss German and German, and her curiosity for new languages—especially English—started at a young age. After spending time in the United States as a young adult, her interests expanded to art, music, politics, and medicine, all of which she enjoys bringing into her lessons. For the past six years, Rebecca has taught learners of all ages from around the world. This experience has deepened her appreciation for different cultures and strengthened her belief in the power of language to connect people. She also has a real knack for grammar and loves exploring both the analytical and cultural sides of language learning. She also has experience preparing students for telc and Goethe exams. Her goal is to make learning not only accessible but genuinely enjoyable. She is a native Swiss German speaker and is fluent in both German and English.
Manuela
Swiss German/German Tutor (Native)
Manuela is a Swiss expat living in Egypt with a professional background as a childcare specialist and Montessori teacher, education has always been at the heart of her journey. Her experience allows her to guide students with patience, empathy, and a strong understanding of individual learning styles. Having lived and worked in international environments, she understands that learning a language is about more than vocabulary — it is about building confidence and creating meaningful connections. Her teaching style is supportive, structured, and relaxed, helping students feel comfortable so they can progress naturally and effectively. Passionate about teaching, Manuela tailors each lesson to her students’ goals, offering both solid grammar foundations and practical conversation skills in German and Swiss German.
Aaron
Swiss German/German Teacher (Native)
Born and raised in Switzerland, Aaron has always had a passion for languages. As a native speaker of Swiss German and German he has also studied English, French, Spanish and even some Finnish. He firmly believes that comparing languages can speed up the learning process of a new one quite a bit. Stimulating and supporting learning processes is what Aaron specializes in, as he will finish the University of Teacher Education (PH) in summer 2026. Being a primary school teacher, Aaron offers dynamic and engaging lessons by naturally integrating creative, playful and digital elements tailored to his students' needs. His core teaching philosophy is built on the belief that people learn best when they are truly having fun. As a dedicated educator, he knows how to create a joyful, communicative and highly motivating environment where students can build confidence and genuinely enjoy the process of learning.
Heidi
German Language Teacher
Heidi is a native German speaker and her initial, educational background is in teaching, having studied German and English at university.
Heidi is a well-experienced communicator, and focus on making language learning engaging, relevant, and dynamic. She continuously explores new approaches to bring the language to life and create meaningful learning experiences.
While moving to different countries throughout her corporate career, she found time to teach German at several language schools in her free time, including Belgium, Denmark, Germany and Japan.
